Knoxville’s “Big Love Bus” Joining Forces with Transportation Experts “Chariots of Hire”
Two Knoxville based companies’ look to expand service of the already popular fleet.
Knoxville, TN – The Big Love Bus, Knoxville’s most colorful and entertaining way to get around town is getting even bigger! Missy Sprouse, co-owner of The Big Love Bus & Mark Parsons, Owner of Knoxville based transportation company Chariots of Hire announced today they are joining forces to spread more big love throughout our community.
The current operators of the Big Love Bus will create and execute the on-bus experience and the team at Chariots of Hire will manage bus reservations and route logistics. “I am very excited about this new partnership”, Sprouse says, “We’ve always thought that Big Love Bus was completely unique and our friends at Chariots of Hire seem to agree. Our small, but crazy passionate team still owns the busses and we’ll participate in creating the ‘Big Love Bus’ experience our customers’ love, but now the logistics experts at Chariots of Hire will handle the rest of the operation from start to finish. This is going to be such an improvement for everyone. No one knows how to manage transportation logistics better than our friends at Chariots of Hire and we’re excited to know they’ll make sure that finding and renting our busses will be easier than ever.”
Chariots of Hire CEO Mark Parsons agrees. “I vividly remember the first time I saw one of The Big Love Buses. It was in a parking lot at a stoplight. I SMILED. A REALLY BIG SMILE– -and said to self, WHAT A GREAT IDEA! Our business is all about “niche and boutique” and The Big Love Bus is all that and MORE.
We are very excited to have the opportunity to partner with Missy and her team. They bring so much Passion and “Love” to ground transportation which is highly addictive and greatly appreciated.” The Big Love Bus first came to Knoxville in 2013. Part art installation, part rolling romper room, the big love bus is 45 feet of rollicking, frolicking, rolling fun. After it’s first year, the Big Love Bus got busy and spawned two additional cozy coaches…each lovingly hand-painted, beaming with pride and beckoning riders to climb aboard.
“The truth is, I’m a photographer, not a logistics expert.” Explains Sprouse, “The Big Love Bus was born out of our need for a safe way to move people around from location to location for our photo shoots. What’s amazing is that Knoxville just fell in love with our first bus! They wanted to use it for all kinds of things like corporate team building, food and brewery tours, trips to Smokies Stadium, you name it! Demand was so high; we added a second bus and then a third! We’re growing so fast that partnering with Chariots of Hire just made perfect sense.”
